Making Shakespeare: The First Folio celebrates the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio.
As Director of Photography on production in NYC and Washington D.C., I filmed numerous interviews, original Shakespeare First Folios, location setting scenes and live performances. A highlight was filming Emmy Award-winning actor Brian Cox and his wife, actor Nicole Ansari exploring a collection of folios at the Henry Folger Library. Live performances included a bilingual musical adaptation of Comedy of Errors, a middle school production of Romeo and Juliet, and behind the scenes of Kenny Leon’s Hamlet for Shakespeare in the Park.
