Tell Them You Love Me explores the story of Anna Stubblefield, a professor who becomes involved in a controversial affair with Derrick Johnson, a non-verbal man with cerebral palsy. Anna claims she unlocked Derrick's mind using facilitated communication. Their relationship sparked a criminal trial that raised complex questions about disability and the meaning of consent.

As one of the directors of photography for the U.S. production unit, I filmed observational footage of Derrick and his family at home and in their community.
